I love the many characters whose lives interconnect and their stories develop with "ah-ha" moments along the way!  Wonderful ending! Kathie Perkinson

I enjoy the way this author writes. She introduces and develops a wide variety characters so that you find yourself relating to each and celebrating as they triumph and overcome. It has romance, drama, and so very much suspense. It is amazing how even though a character may struggle with a physical disability or emotional abuse, they have a tremendous faith in God that appears to make them stronger for it. I cried twice reading this book, from sheer joy and admiration for the characters’ resolutions. I find myself thinking about the characters and excited for the next book in the series, slated for 2023. What in the world am I going to do with myself until I get to read more?   Jaime Fugate

Roxie Applesauce is an emotional roller coaster! I laughed. I cried. It was intense and light hearted. Roxie is a story of how God picks up the pieces of our lives and sews them into a beautiful tapestry. This is the second book in a trilogy. You don't have to read the first book, Treasure atop the Mountain, to get the most out of Roxie. Cari Small

It’s an endearing, generational novel showcasing the importance of a loving, supportive family and what can happen when that is and is not present. Such a good, sweet story. Linda Rush

The lives of so many entangled into one book! What a wonderful story it makes. My heart breaks, my heart smiles as I walk through life with these wonderful people. Wish I had read This book immediately after finishing Treasure atop the Mountain. Had I done that, I would have had less trouble keeping all the characters straight as to their connection to one another. But, that issue was probably my fault, not that of the author. In the end, it wraps up with enough joy to make me anxious for the next in this series. Write faster, Ms. Matthews. Judy Martin

I love the book, and especially the characters. The book came to life for me and I felt like I was there in the middle of the story. As I read the book, it was hard to put down as I love the way the book was written and divided up about the characters and their story, it keep me on my toes to see what was going to happen next. The author did an amazing job with details of the characters and location of the story. The more you read you started to feel you knew the characters and I could related to someone in my personal life. Diana Horn
